The Florida Cancer Society, Inc., is a non profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the cure of cancer through Cancer Research. To educate and call upon all Americans to make the cure and prevention of Cancer the nation's "top research priority." Doctors depend on researchers and the researchers depend on our help. Founded by Clyde E Collier, a two time cancer survivor and Janice Friend a cancer survivor; Since 1989, thanks to researchers and the information they pass on to the Doctors both are alive and well today. 1.5 million Americans will be diagnosed with Cancer this year. CANCER GROWS!! IT KILLS!! and does not discriminate! Research does not end until a "cure is found for cancer." With more funds provided for cancer researchers, each day brings us that much closer to the reality of combating the killer disease!
