GLSEN Chicago strives to create schools that are safe for all people - students, teachers, administrators and parents -reagardless of sexual orientation. We carry out our mission through our sponsorship of teacher training sessions, youth summits, distribution of appropriate teacher resources, Gay-Straight student alliances, scholarship awards and our speakers' bureau. Through these efforts, school communities focus on teaching respect for all.
