Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) is working to raise funds to help the National Zoo bring a pair of giant pandas from China. This requires a contribution of $1 million per year for ten years, money that will be used to support efforts to save giant pandas in the wild in western China. The goal of FONZ's fundraising efforts is to provide at least one-quarter of this amount, or $250,000 a year.
