Cause Description:
Founded in 1990, DCS's VISIONS center makes a long-term difference in the lives of many by focusing on and helping one, young single mother at a time. At VISIONS, young mothers of the West End of Cincinnati find a safe, nurturing, licensed day care facility dedicated to individual growth and learning. While the children are under VISIONS' protective care, their young mothers can continue their educations. Believing that no one can make it alone, VISIONS works with every participating mother, offering special programming, child-care classes, counseling and firm-handed, consistent support. All are aimed at seeing each mother through school, to graduation and to success beyond.
