Cause Description:
The mission of WVSA arts connection is to serve the Washington DC area children and youth with special needs (e.g., disabilities and at-risk status) through service-oriented programs using the arts as a tool to master educational, vocational, and other life skills. WVSA’s name reflects how important connections are to our work. WVSA programs include: SAIL Public Charter School, ARTiculate Gallery and Employment Training Program, Arts in Healthcare and Arts Education Outreach. WVSA’s newest program, Auto Arts Academy, a Public Charter High School, will open in September 2004.
