Cause Description:
We are a non profit membership organization that advocates on behalf of individuals with brain injury and their friends and families. We have chapters and support groups throughout the state, as well as a mentoring program that connects individuals on a one-to-one peer support basis. We have a program for individuals that have been injured before the age of 22, and we have an annual conference that brings together brain injured individuals and professionals in the traumatic brain injury field. We have a video lending library and a publications clearinghouse, which provides people wih information on brain injury, and we also do work with prevention and work with public policy.
