G.I.T. Up and Go, Inc. is a three-year-old non-profit 501(c) 3 organization devoted to enhancing the self-esteem of adolescent girls through sports activities and mentoring relationships. By connecting girls in grades 6-8 with role models, the organization dedicates itself to an underserved area of Johnson County, Kansas in order to promote the physical and mental wellness of girls. G.I.T. motivates girls to take advantage of the life-long benefits of sports by learning to set goals and experience accomplishment, while developing strong character along the way.
