The YWCA-NYC, headquatered at 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue, has branches in Harlem and Flushing; six early learning centers (in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island); membership services in health, fitness, sports, cinema, fine arts, crafts, music, lectures and seminars on a variety of topics, computers and ESOL; services for at-risk youth, teen mothers and fathers, adolescents , young adults and individuals with disabilities, women re-entering the workforce, immigrant families; seniors; and a new initiative to provide comprehensive programs for girls ages 9 to 15. The YWCA-NYC is a pioneer for political ans social change with new and innovative programs to improve the lives of women, firls, families, and communities.
