Eyebeam Atelier is a not-for-profit new media art organization that provides the access, education, and support necessary for students, artists, and young people to create innovative artworks with new technologies. With artists and students facing huge financial barriers to access and apply these technologies, Eyebeam seeks to bring the artistic process to these individuals, allowing underprivilaged students to become the forerunners in creating innovative artworks. Eyebeam Atelier is presently planning a new museum dedicated to art and technology in New York City. The mission of the museum is to become an important and distinguished public resource for the dissemination, education, and discussion of new media art. This new facility will be New York City's first venue dedicated exclusively to art and technology.
