Cause Description:
Adopt A Block, Inc., is a coalition of community groups working together to bring restoration to the inner city of Baltimore, Md. - Block by Block. Their mission is to effect Baltimore and serve the disadvantaged families and children. Such services include: emergency assistance, food, blankets, inner city outreach and block parties, house renovation projects, community meetings, and recreational activities for inner city children (sailing, bowling, baseball, etc.,). Adopt A Block operates out of its facilities in Baltimore, Maryland. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organizaiton. Other program includes: A Can Can Make A Difference, a super pantry food distribution program giving away 4-6 million pounds of food a year. We are planning to renovate a donated 29,000 square foot warehouse for our various projects. $2 million is needed to make this a reality.
