The Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse for Greater New Orleans is the leading substance abuse prevention agency serving communities in New Orleans and surrounding six parish area. Our mission is to prevent the abuse of alcohol, drugs, and other addictive substances in order to promote and support healthy individuals and families and safe communities... accomplished through education, collaboration, advocacy, intervention, and referral and information services. A local United Way member agency, CADA also serves as the local affiliate for the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and the National Association for Children of Alcoholics. PREVENTION WORKS!
