Cause Description:
PET FBI (Pets Found By Internet) is an all-volunteer non-profit tax-exempt organization incorporated in the State of Ohio in 1998. We have a two-fold mission: 1. To maintain a free on line database of lost and found pets with pertinent advice and contact information. 2. To address the problem of pet overpopulation by raising public awareness and by offering hands-on and financial spay/neuter/TNR assistance to disadvantaged people and caretakers of feral/free-roaming cat colonies. At present (November 2016) we have over 80,000 records in our database with over 1/3 of users reporting happy reunions. Through our OUTREACH program we have subsidized and assisted in altering over 6,000 cats and dogs.
