Founded in 1980 by Executive Director, Cheryl Kilmer, T.E.R.I., Inc. (Training and Education for Retarded Individuals) serves children and adults with developmental disabilities. The agency specializes in serving persons who have severe behavior disorders and who need intensive support in order to be successful within community settings. Services provided include: group homes, schools, vocational training, summer camp, therapeutic equestrian, respite and transportation throughout San Diego County. T.E.R.I., Inc. believes that all people should have the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest extent possible, within their home community. Cited as a model program by the State of California, the agency is dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities and their families.
