Luna is a National Historic Landmark Tugboat in Boston. She was the first diesel-electric harbor tug and the last full-sized wooden-hulled tug on the East and Gulf coasts. She is being restored as the only operating historic vessel in Boston and will be used as an educational museum to teach technology, construction, trades,ecology as well as the history and commerce of Boston harbor.
