Mission Statement: "Helping to Eliminate the World's Poor" AACWT Charitable Svcs., Inc. also currently dba American Charitable Services and on the web at: www.helpforthehomeless.com is currently fund raising in Southern California as "4 Million is Sought" for land acquisition and building contruction for two brand-new brick, solar energy efficient, handicap accessible, 24 hour emergency shelter facilities for homeless, transient adults and foster children in Southern California. This facility will contain for adults: army cots; showers, lockers, small kennel for animals, auditorium-chapel; bar-be-que social area; kitchen; and laundry facility. The childrens' complex will provide separate kitchen, bathroom, learning rooms fulfilling (educational classrooms; musical instruments, drawing media); auditorium; outdoor skating ramp; and beds. These facilities will not be located in downtown, skid row Los Angeles but will be placed in a community with the objective that it will bring pride, self esteem, and social rehabilitated social readjustment to its clients. Pacesetter donors will be memorialized with their name in bronze in the cornerstone of the 2 new facilities.
