Founded in 1959, Thresholds is Illinois’ oldest and largest provider and advocate for people with severe mental illness. We offer more than 30 innovative and nationally-recognized programs throughout Chicago and suburbs, designed to help those we serve - our "members" - lead independent and fulfilling lives. Thresholds delivers the following range of comprehensive supportive services: housing, supported employment, education, psychiatric care, entitlements procurement, money management, integrated medical care, medication monitoring and education, peer support, individual and group therapies, socialization, parenting education, and child care.
