Purple Light Touch Foundation is a 501(c)3 designed exclusively to empower, uplift and transform women and young girls Our goal is to impact the community by providing a unique service offering free therapeutic massages, mentoring, prayer, support sessions, basic computer skills and empowerment for those suffering from various types of life altering circumstances. Valerie Kelso, our Founder and CEO found that massages were beneficial for her healing and wanted to share this benefit with those that have suffered their own trauma. We know how critical it is for someone that has been through any type of trauma to receive emotional and physical support. Women and young girls need a place where they can relax and express their emotions to begin a healing process and that is what we provide. We offer a young girl’s support program that helps them identify with their trauma such as abuse, bullying, self-esteem issues, depression, suicidal thoughts and eating disorders. We have women’s support programs that help them begin a new journey after experiencing domestic violence, abuse, cancer, divorce, loss of a loved one and so much more. We at PLT are here to offer a safe calm place to help our clients grow and overcome their trauma. Our philosophy is if you feel better you do better.
