Cause Description:
To inform the public about genetically engineered foods, their potential risks to health, the environment, and the integrity of the food supply for future generations. To advocate for transparency in the food supply and for clear and concise mandatory labeling of foods that have been genetically engineered, or produced with genetically engineered ingredients. To accomplish this, we aim to promote greater awareness of genetically engineered foods through the use of social media. We will provide timely and relevant online scientific, political and social information regarding GE foods, as well as the efforts being made to mandate proper product labeling of foods in the United States, and specifically New Hampshire. Simply put, we want the food that contains GMOs to be labeled … just like any other ingredient.
