Books for America is a new national organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., with local chapters forming around the country. We distribute donated books, movies, music and instructional cd's, audiobooks, and more to organizations in the United States serving needy communities and individuals. Recipients include hospitals, inner-city and rural schools, assisted living communities for seniors, adult literacy programs, V.A. hospitals, youth centers, women's shelters, hospices, and so on.
