Cause Description:
Pet-4-Pets is a non-profit organization providing shelter and adoption for homeless cats and dogs. It is the mission of Pet-4-Pets to reduce the number of cats and dogs that are destroyed each year in the United States. This goal can be accomplished through these six strategies:
EDUCATION: We will educate the population as to why it is important to spay and neuter their cat and/or dog.
SPAY/NEUTER: We will provide low cost spay/neuter to individuals to decrease the number of unwanted litters that are born each year.
FERAL ANIMALS: We will provide medical treatment for cats that have been born and raised in the wild by trapping them in live traps, providing the necessary medical attention, and returning them to the wild spayed or neutered.
SPECIAL NEEDS/SENIOR ANIMAL CARE: When space allows us we will provide a shelter for special needs animals and animals that are too old to be adopted.
NO-KILL RESCUE: We will provide a safe and loving foster home to as many animals as possible for as long as necessary. We will return them to a healthy condition and care for them until we find a good adoptive home.
ADOPTIONS: We will find them suitable adoptive homes. We are also committed to take any of these animals back for any reason at any time during the rest of their lives so that they will not be killed in an animal shelter.
