Asian Culture and Media Alliance, or ACMA, is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2013 with a mission to serve the Asian & Pacific Islander (API) community by building better equity, inclusion and diversity through the power of television, film and new media arts. ?Our objective is to promote commonalities and build cultural bridges amongst all Asian communities through educational and media programs as well as networking events. Our vision is to advance the empowerment of stronger voices in television & film arts, while celebrating our rich API cultural heritage and achievements. ?Asian Culture and Media Alliance, or ACMA, is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2013 by Asian American community activist and TV personality Cathlyn Choi. Our mission in serving the Asian & Pacific Islander (API) community is to build better equity, inclusion and diversity through the power of media arts, especially television, film and new media. ?Our objective is to promote commonalities and build cultural bridges amongst all Asian communities through educational and media programs as well as networking events. Our vision is to advance the empowerment of stronger voices in television & film arts, while celebrating our rich API cultural heritage and achievements. ?ACMA Programs include: 1. Asian Voices TV Show – The only cable television show produced in English highlighting the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, organizations, culture and arts in Southern California. 2. Asian Voices Radio - An extension to Asian Voices TV, our radio podcast series provides a safe space for in-depth conversations on the various cultural and social issues that impact the Asian & Pacific American (APA) communities in the United States. 3. Asian Pacific Community Connection Directory Listings Website – An online directory created for Asian American and Pacific Islander businesses in Southern California. 4. Take One Vocational Media Training & Internship Program– A bi-annual, hands-on vocational media internship and mentorship program designed to inspire and activate API youth so as to give rise to more authentic, diverse voices in TV and Film media arts spaces. 5. Take One Fellowship Program - A 6-month extension of our existing Take One youth media vocational internship program that teaches basic employable film media and digital marketing skills as well as personal development mentorship. 6. Business and Digital Media Seminar for Empowering Women and Youth – Monthly Webinar Series designed to discuss, provide and share relevant information knowledge and resources for underserved women and youth in our community. ?Annual Events: 1. Annual Drive, Dine & Wine Fundraising Golf Tournament 2. Annual Holiday Anniversary Gala and Awards 3. AAPI Virtual Youth Film Festival (Coming in Late 2021)
