Organized as private non-profit, founded in 1966 by people in our community. Mission of mobilizing resources needed by low-income people to become self-sufficient. Primary service area is five counties with come services offered in 13 counties. Example of programs offered included housing, preschool (Head Start), Family Crisis, Domestic Violence intervention and support services, skills enhancement, etc.
