The SIDS Alliance strives to achieve increased public participation and support in the fight against SIDS. The SIDS Alliance is engaged in ongoing efforts to expand it scientific program, strengthen services for families, and provide public education and advocacy opportunities. An important goal is to improve community understanding and elevate Sudden Infant Death Syndrome to the level of societal concern apprproiate to one of our nation's major causes of infant mortality.
