Independent Living Resources of Southwest Washington is an organization that provides services for people with disabilities. We teach independent living skills, i.e., cooking, money management, riding public and paratransit; we do advocacy on an individual, local, state and national level for people with disabilities. ILR of SW WA is a part of an international network of independent living centers. The centers are run by and for people with disabilities and encourage and empower them to live independently and take charge of their own lives.
