The mission of the SPCA of Wake County is to protect, shelter and promote adoption of unwanted animals; to provide education about responsible pet ownership; and to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs. The SPCA provides food, shelter, and care for nearly 10,000 animals each year. No animal is ever turned away.
