Under My Wing Avian Refuge is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization in Sussex County, NJ 07416. We offer a refuge home for surrendered domestic birds and parrots. Our birds come from humane societies, shelters, and owner surrender. We are committed to providing surrendered birds with trusting relation, a healthy diet and avian vet care. Thus, keeping them safe from shelters and multiple foster homes. We also provide hospice care for the handicap, terminally ill and older birds by nurturing and providing for their well-being and welfare. Our mission is to continually care for birds and build them a future where: The under-nourished will be nourished. The plucked may live a stress free life and not pluck again. The unwanted will be accepted and loved. The neglected will receive the attention and care they deserve. The untamed will be manageable. The imprisoned by cages will have more freedom. Our Crew will rejoice and socialize with people and others of their own kind just as God created us to live; in harmony and Love.
