Divine Felines Purebred Rescue (DFPR) is a 501(c)3, all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming of displaced cats. DFPR rescues cats from owners who can no longer keep their cats and local shelters. Our goal is to place these cats with loving forever families that will provide warm and affectionate homes as well as proper nutrition and veterinary care. DFPR specializes in rehoming Exotic Shorthairs, Himalayans, Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Snowshoes, Persians and mixed breed cats. DFPR is supported by adoption fees, personal donations, and fund-raising activities by our volunteers. All cats are placed in loving foster homes. Our cats are able to give our foster cats one-on-one time that help them to adjust to being in a foster home and teach them how to be wonderful, loving cats ready to be adopted to new forever homes. Our foster parents find socializing, caring for their fosters and meeting their fosters new families to be some of the most rewarding experiences that they have had. Whether you are up for a house full of kittens or fostering one of our senior or special needs cat, foster homes are always in need. If you are not able to be a foster parent here are a list of ways you can make a difference in the lives of other rescued cats: donations of food, litter, low cost or free veterinary care; socializing foster cats; handing out flyers; helping in screening potential adopters, updating our websites; fundraising; or one of the many other important behind the scenes jobs that help our rescue function.
