RRUFF(Rescued Rottweilers United with Friends and Family, Inc.)is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that rescues unwanted and abandoned Rottweilers from shelters New England. RRUFF is composed of volunteers who have a love of the Rottweiler breed and a desire to help homeless Rottweilers find their *forever* families. Each dog is put through a temperament evaluation to test their suitability for placement with a family. Once the dog passes the evaluation s/he is accepted into our program and placed in foster care. While in foster care each dog learns basic obedience, house manners, crate training and how to live harmoniously with a family. RRUFF has a detailed adoption application process which ensures that adoptive families meet our qualifications for adoption. Subsequent to adoption we follow-up on the dogs we have placed to make sure they are thriving in their adoptive homes. We also offer training and behavioral support to adoptive families.
