The Long Island Parrot Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating people who share their homes with pet birds and the public about proper bird care; to promote conservation in the wild and to establish a Parrot Museum, Shelter and Learning Center on Long Island. Our Parrot University program is a traveling, team-taught classroom with parrots as teaching assistants; it's available to schools, clubs and organizations such as scout troops.
