A Small Victory is a non-profit organization in Washington State providing local hospitals with resources and bereavement packages to give to parents who have lost a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal loss. A Small Victory was founded by Ethan and Liz Allen who lost our first child, Janell Victory, when Liz was about eight months pregnant. The hospital where they delivered at had limited resources to help them deal with the loss of a child, so they decided to create this non-profit in her memory to help other families deal with the tragedy and create memories to last forever. As part of the organization A Small Victory trains local hospital nurses on how to help bereaved families during their loss. [view full description]
