Freckles' Friends Pet Shelter, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization established to build a no-kill animal shelter in DeKalb County, TN. In addition, we are aggressively promoting spay/neuter assistance programs to reduce pet over-population. We are in a very rural community with no pet shelter for county residents. A shelter is desperately needed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for homeless pets until a permanent home can be found. We will not euthanize any adoptable pet. We are currently doing our best to find homes for pets that are being temporarily fostered in homes of volunteers.
