Refuge Farms is a sanctuary for horses and Human Beings alike. We have two equally important missions: First: Abandoned, mistreated horses are rescued and given a safe haven to heal and live out their remaining days with dignity and grace. Second: These recovering horses have much to give and teach us humans about respect, trust, and forgiveness. Through a program called "Horses Helping..." the animals help us recover from stress, abuse, illness or disabilities, loss of loved ones, and even the worries of war.
