As one of the founding Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States, Fox Chase Cancer Center offers integrated programs in cancer treatment, basic and clinical research, education and cancer prevention. In fact, Fox Chase has been pioneering scientific discoveries and translating promising new findings into improved treatment for patients for decades. We have a robust Phase I Clinical Trials program - the largest in the region with over 170 clinical trials of new diagnostic and treatment therapies underway at any one time. With a strong research and clinical focus on cancer prevention, we are actively involved in developing and testing new agents that may prevent cancer in high-risk individuals. Novel robotic assisted surgical techniques as well as more targeted radiotherapy treatment programs are also under active development at the Center. Our faculty boasts two Nobel laureates as well as other distinguished scientists and internationally known clinicians.
