S. A. F. E. Society of Florida, Inc. began in 2001 with a few volunteers working together to save animals at risk of euthanasia. We have grown into a small group of caring individuals continuing to help homeless pets in need. We are a non-profit volunteer rescue effort dedicated to saving homeless animals and finding their "forever home". We primarily serve homeless animals at risk in shelters across Florida. We place all of our rescues in foster care until their adoption. Foster care is a temporary home which provides the rescue with food, fresh water, shelter, exercise and an abundance of love. All rescued animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and they are given their rabies and other vaccines as needed. Our main focus is to find the right forever family for our rescues. In doing so, all prospective adoptive homes are required to have a home visit and interview to ensure proper placement and the best match possible.
