Calvert Animal Welfare League rescues and places homeless dogs and cats with adoptive families primarily in Southern Maryland. Calvert Animal Welfare League is now building the Calvert Animal Adoption and Education Center in Prince Frederick, MD. Our programs emphasize the spay/neuter of pets to prevent unwanted animals and provide humane education programs for elementary-age children.
