Assist the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter by implementing programs to prevent cruelty to animals, such as programs to provide care for animals too young to be housed at the shelter, adoption programs to decrease the number of animals that must be euthanized by the shelter, and otherwise assist as advised of needs by shelter directors and staff.
