Bethesda Children's Home was established in 1919 as an orphanage by the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Today Bethesda is regarded as one of the premier providers of behavioral and mental health services for youth and their families. Bethesda currently serves over 300 youth per day through three facilities in Crawford and Erie County Pennsylvania.
