Save-A-Dog is a non-profit, no-kill humane society located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, established for the purpose of saving abused and abandoned dogs and dogs who are scheduled for euthanasia at shelters. Our "saved" dogs are in foster homes being cared for by loving and committed volunteers who prepare them for adoption. Some dogs are clasified "unadoptable" because of age or handicap. For them we are their home for the rest of their lives. Our purpose being that they will never be hungry, sick, in pain, or lonely again. We are their last chance at life. [view full description]
