We are very excited about becoming apart of the Arc Downriver, a well-established non-profit organization with over 50 years of experience serving the Downriver community. We will continue as always to provide a support forum for families with children of various disabilities age's birth to 18 years of age's. Our goal is to assist families of special needs children by providing direction through parent-to-parent support in an effort to network families across the Downriver Communities of Michigan. Together we will be able to bring many new and exciting things for the younger generation of special needs children & teenagers through out Downriver. We offer our families an opportunity to connect with each other, exchange information, and to educate the general public. We offer support group meetings, educational materials, and social activities/programs for children with disabilities along with their siblings. We also provide speakers/seminars on topics of interest to the special needs community.
