Lucky Ones S.P.C.A. began as an inspiration after the "Candlelight Vigil" of August 1992 which was held as a memorial to the thousands of pets killed annually by the Tri-County Animal Shelter, Hughesville Md, because of overpopulation. We are a nonprofit organization formed to establish a spay-neuter clinic, to prevent unwanted pets and to promote adoption.
