The New Jersey Unit of Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic records textbooks and other educational materials for students who are visually impaired, learning disabled or for other reasons cannot read standard text. Our recordings become part of RFB&D's national lending library, the largest source of recorded educational texts in the U.S. Our 500-plus volunteers record everything from beginning readers through professional and post-graduate material. We also provide outreach services for school districts throughout New Jersey. We serve over 100,000 individuals nationally, with more than 5,000 in New Jersey. [view full description]
