Literacy Suffolk, Inc. effects countywide change by improving individual adult literacy skills through the valuable use of trained volunteers and by expanding community awareness. We accomplish this by recruiting and training community volunteers to tutor adults on a one-to-one or small group basis. We offer free confidential, student-centered instruction and provide ongoing support services to tutors and students.
