The purpose for which the Progressive Animal Welfare Society Adoption Center, Inc., is organized is: to provide loving, humane care and housing for unwanted dogs and cats until permanent homes can be found for them; to provide medical and surgical treatment for animals under the care of this corporation; to promote the control of the cat and dog population through surgical neutering of the corporation's animals and education of the public; to seek the cooperation of the public in the animal welfare work of the corporation; and to rent, lease, and/or acquire real estate for the maintenance and building of structures necessary for the proper care and treatment of unwanted dogs and cats.
