Something this small makes big possible

After we introduced the tiny iGive Button in June, 2011, we realized that it was so simple, we could easily help 1,000,000 new people support their favorite causes. With that many folks participating, something almost magical would happen. For starters, 1,000,000 new users mean about $25,000,000 more donated annually. That's a lot of change.

But how to get that big?

And how to do it this year, when causes and charities are under so much financial pressure? We believe the answer is simple. We're going to supercharge iGive's 350,000 members and use "word of mouth" instead of buying expensive advertising.

$10 donated for each new Button user (and probably more). That's pretty super. Tools like Facebook, Twitter, and old-fashioned email make it easy to refer anybody to get the iGive Button and raise money for your cause.

$5 for just giving it a try, and at least $5 more after a first purchase

iGive members know lots of people who want to help. Give them the chance to help, all for free. The iGive Button makes it so very easy. No purchase necessary for that first $5 bonus, and when they shop, if they shop, another $5+ is donated. (More shopping means more can be earned - all because over 1,000 stores make it possible!)

Important Information:

• Only real people, new to iGive, qualify. The normal membership agreement applies.
• The Button must remain installed on your normally used browser for at least 90 days. That way you get a real sampling of how easy it is to help.
• And the member must (no exceptions) use the special "tell a friend" link we provide.
