How do I list my cause with iGive.com?
If you're a cause staff member:
Click here and begin in the area marked "Cause Staff Only"
Enter your e-mail address and click "Submit"
Listing your cause takes just a few minutes
You'll begin accumulating funds immediately!
If you're not a cause staff member, never fear!
- You CAN list a new cause with iGive.com
- Click the "Joining" tab at the top of the page
- Begin in the area marked "Join Here"
- Enter your e-mail address and click "join now"
- If the cause you're looking for isn't already listed, you can click to add it yourself! (You'll need to supply a mailing address for the cause so we can contact and send them money!)
Does my cause qualify?
If your cause is:
located in the U.S. or Canada,
engaging in legal activities that benefit the public good, and
in need of additional funds
...it's qualified! iGive.com does NOT require your cause to be 501(c)-3 or otherwise tax-exempt. Whether your cause is large or small, it's welcome here.
Is there any cost or obligation?
None. For causes or for supporting members.
How can our cause keep track of how much we raise?
When you list your cause with iGive.com, you automatically get a free personal membership. As a member, you'll have access to timely reports of your earnings and all funds distributed to your cause. The "Check Report" allows you to see a list of all checks (with dates) sent to your cause. We even list the check numbers and amounts.
When do we get the money?
Checks are sent to causes monthly, 75 days in arrears. This allows the merchants time to report merchandise returns:

At our causes' request, iGive.com does not send checks for amounts less than $25. If an account has less than $25 at the end of the month, the funds will carry over each month until $25 accrues.
Can we thank our supporters?
Absolutely. We do keep member information private. However, you can see a list of your supporters who have given us permission to reveal their names to you.
