The Humane Society of Shenandoah County is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health, safety, welfare, compassionate care and protection of animals in Shenandoah County through education and community outreach. •Coordinates a comprehensive spay and neuter program including: ?Transport from Woodstock to the Spay and Neuter Clinic in Harrisonburg ?Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) for community cats ?Fix-A-Pit program: Free spaying and neutering for pit bulls and pit bull mixes ?Please call 540-421-4842, or email info@hsscva.org for more information. •Maintains an fast response animal hotline. 540-984-7101. •Provides an emergency veterinary assistance program •Provides pet food assistance to families throughout the county as funds and volunteers allow. •Collaborates with rescue groups to help provide resources for animals in need.
