Important News Regarding Amazon.com |
|
Amazon.com
recently informed us that they no longer want to participate
in the iGive.com program. They have told us that helping
you raise money for your favorite charity via iGive is “not
in their business interest.” As a result, Amazon.com
purchases don't count for donations as of April 16,
2003. If you still wish to visit Amazon.com (without getting
a donation), please
Please
keep this in mind: over 440 great stores at iGive DO
want to support you and your cause, every time you shop!
We encourage you to visit alternative
stores, for great prices, great selection, and most
importantly, money to help your favorite cause. Unlike Amazon.com,
virtually all other iGive.com stores have automatic purchase
reporting, so you don’t have to manually report the transactions
either!

Amazon Purchases: what happens? |
|
Beginning April 16, 2003, Amazon will no longer be available
on iGive.com, so it will not be possible to place new orders
which qualify for donations. Also, orders shipped after
April 23, 2003 do not qualify for iGive credit, even if
they were placed prior to April 16, 2003. If you have not
already done so, please report all your existing Amazon.com
orders through the Transaction Reporting Form: http://www.iGive.com/html/missingtrans.cfm
The
deadline to report
Amazon orders placed through iGive.com is June 23, 2003.
